Mission Statement
The physicians, nurses and staff of Cancer Care & Hematology
Specialists of Chicagoland are dedicated to the care of people with blood diseases and cancer.
We understand that people with blood diseases and cancer have other health care concerns, which may be impacted upon by these diseases.
We recognize that people with serious medical illnesses feel that their lives may be threatened,
We know that our patient's friends and significant others may often feel uncertain of how best to meet the patient's needs, as well as their own.
It is our mission to:
- Provide the highest quality health care to our patients in a culture of excellence, using multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment programs, which recognize all of our patient's health care needs.
- Advise, inform and counsel our patients concerning the potential for treatment of their disease, the goals of treatments, and of alternative treatments.
- Make available participation in clinical trials where this is most appropriate.
- Recognize that each of our patients and their families have special needs and goals. We will try our best to meet them.
- Provide care with sensitivity in a comfortable and supportive environment.
- Work closely with our patient's primary care and other physicians.
- Insure the autonomy and dignity of our patients throughout the course of their illness.
