Founder of Cancer Care & Hematology Specialist's of Chicagoland, Dr. Kosova has

served as the founding director of the Hematology Oncology department at Lutheran General Hospital. He established the Cancer Care Center at Lutheran General Hospital as a pioneering effort in multidisciplinary cancer care, which has served as a model for other programs throughout the United States. He founded the Cancer Care Foundation to serve the psycho-social spiritual needs of patients and their families dealing with cancer and

has been active in clinical trial research. Dr. Kosova’s most important contributions remain in caring for patients and he has been widely recognized in those efforts.

Dr. Kosova has recently retired from private practice. Although he is not accepting appointments, he remains an intricate part of CCHSC and U.S. Oncology.
